BlackBerry CEO John Chen said the company has more than US$3 billion in cash, most of which is going into research and development. Chen said his turnaround plan for BlackBerry focuses on reaching $500 million in software revenue by next March.
Many analysts expect the Priv, which was released in the US last week, to be BlackBerry’s last offering in the smartphone market.
