Sonos 5.2 improves the soundstage using stereo imaging, and
also includes improvements to the EQ and volume balance, Sonos has also
introduced new multi-user account music service support, which means that Sonos
can accommodate more than one user as well as connectivity to multiple music
streaming services.
Multi-user support (available for iOS and Android devices)
can be used by guests of a home with a Sonos system, allowing them to also
control the music played upon downloading the Sonos app for themselves, and
connecting to the device via the local Wi-Fi signal. Officially available later
this year, Sonos v5.2 is available in beta now.
