Acer Is Expecting a double-digit increase in revenue from its gaming monitor line in 2018, thanks largely to sales in its Ultra HD resolution models.

The company has previously said it Ultra HD resolutions to become the norm for gaming monitors either by the end of this year or early next year.

Acer introduced its Predator and Nitro series monitors at IFA 2018 in Berlin a couple of weeks ago.

Since then it has released more models, the Predator XB273K and the Nitro XV273K to further fill out its extensive gaming monitor range.

The Predator XB273K features 3,840 x 2,160 resolution and supports a 144Hz refresh rate and Nvidia’s G-Sync technology.

The Nitro XV273K 27-inch Ultra HD monitor, featuring AMD’s Radeon FreeSync technology as well as Visual Response Boost and a 144Hz refresh rate.
