Just days before its American launch, Samsung Electronics has released a full spec sheet for its first foldable phone – the ‘Galaxy Fold’ – highlighting its six cameras, 12GB RAM and 4,380mAH dual battery.

The Galaxy Fold is marketed as a “whole new category of smartphone”, fusing the capabilities of a tablet and phone.

With a 4.6-inch cover display, the device unfolds to a whopping 7.3-inch ‘Infinity Flex Display’ screen.

Some commentators have criticised the device for being too thick when folded, asserting it’s best thought of as a transforming tablet, than ‘foldable phone.’

Further information regarding local pricing and availability is tipped to be unveiled closer to European launch in late April/early May.
