Apple is recalling wall adaptors shipped with Mac and iOS devices over 12 years that may put users at risk of electric shock.

The three-prong AC plugs (UK Style Type G) shipped with products between January 2003 and January 2015.

They were also sold in Apple World Travel Adaptor kits.

Affected plugs are white, with no lettering in the slot where they attach to the power adaptor.

The newer, unaffacted plugs are white with grey on the inside of the attachment.

Those with affected adaptors can return them to an Apple store, contact an authorised Apple Service Provider, or Apple Support for replacements.
