Former Lenovo Asia Pacific CMO, Nick Reynolds, has departed the company after twelve years, jumping ship to Johnson Controls – Hitachi Air Conditioning, as Vice President and Chief Marketing Officer.

Reynolds was promoted to Lenovo Global Head of Digital, Web & Social in June 2018, after nearly five years as Asia Pacific CMO.

In 2018, he was ranked #5 in the CMO50.

Previous tenure includes management positions within Apple and Dell.

Disclosed to his LinkedIn, Reynolds is tasked with leading Johnson Controls-Hitachi’s (JCH) worldwide marketing functions, and is responsible for branding, channel marketing, PR and more across 50+ countries.

Joining Johnson Controls-Hitachi in January 2019, Reynolds is focused on driving its transformation into a “marketing-first, digital-first” company.

Reynolds will spearhead marketing for the $4 billion joint venture between Hitachi and Johnson Controls, notably the global re-brand of ‘Hitachi Cooling & Heating.’

Goals include re-energising the Hitachi brand, and doubling its cooling and heating business into $8 billion within four years.
