TOKYO: Japanese entertainment and electronic giant Sony has earmarked US$10 million for a fund aimed at helping indie game developers survive the pandemic crisis.

Sony is yet to announce details, but said more information would be available soon.

The company is trying to encourage more PlayStation users to stay indoors during COVID19 with games including Uncharted: The Nathan Drake Collection and Journey free on Sony’s digital store.
