SYDNEY: NBN reseller Aussie Broadband has cut a deal with private fibre cable provider OptiComm to offer fibre-to-the home services to OptComm’s private customers, according to an ITWire report.
Opticomm is reportedly the biggest private competitor to NBN Co’s fibre network. It builds and operates fibreoptic networks in new or recently developed estates and has so far passed more than 120,000 premises, including a 20km ring around the Melbourne CBD and Port Melbourne.
Now Aussie Broadband is looking to work with OptiComm to deliver 1000Mbps fibre-to-the-premises services to residential customers.
