Samsung has revealed it will be offering four years’ worth of updates for its line-up of Galaxy smartphones released from 2019 onwards.
The South Korean tech giant will extend support for all Galaxy phones in the Z, S, Note, A, M, XCover and Tab series launched since 2019 – that’s more than 130 models.
The updates will be general security improvements and not major Android updates.
Samsung has promised it will offer three generations of Android OS updates for its flagship smartphones.
Security updates will be monthly or quarterly and the time it arrives will depend on the specific model.
