Samsung Electronics is tipped to mount a major launch of new mobiles in August which is when Apple is tipped to launch their new 2021 models.

Among the new Samsung models coming this year from the big South Korean Company is a new Galaxy S21 FE, the Galaxy Z Fold3 and the Galaxy Z Flip2, at this stage it’s not known whether new tablet and PC products will be launched at the same time.

If confirmed, the new smartphones will be launched earlier than usual and right up against new Apple products which this year will consist of four new variants of the iPhone.

Case manufacturers have been shown new iPhone designs with the side buttons placed in new positions.

Last year, the Galaxy S20 FE, the predecessor of the Galaxy S21 FE, was released in October, while the Galaxy Z Fold2 and the Galaxy Z Flip foldable smartphones were launched in September.

Missing from the new line-up will be the Galaxy Note phablet which in the past has been launched in September.

The company has not confirmed any information regarding upcoming smartphones.

Some observers are predicting that the Galaxy Z Fold3 could be Samsung’s first foldable smartphone with an under-display camera and may support the S-Pen stylus.

The clamshell-type Galaxy Z Flip3 foldable smartphone could come with larger displays and a cheaper sale price.

The Galaxy S21 FE, the budget model of the flagship Galaxy S21 range has been a spectacular success in Australia.

Samsung was the world’s top smartphone vendor in the first quarter of the year after shipping 77 million smartphones for a market share of 23 percent, according to market researcher Strategy Analytics.
