12 workers at a Samsung research and development centre in Suwon, just south of Seoul, were infected with COVID-19.

Despite this, there has been no shutdown of the facility, even as other workers await tests. Those in contact with the infected workers have been ordered to work from home for two weeks.

A source at the R&D centre told Yonhap News Agency they expect more confirmed cases to come from the facility.
