Samsung’s Galaxy Z Fold 3 and Galaxy Z Flip 3 hit stores in 40 countries, including the US, UK, Canada, and France – but won’t be available in Australia until October.

Pre-sales for the devices are strong; advances orders surpassed 800,000 after less than a week.

This is a major leap past the Galaxy Z Fold 2’s preorders of just 80,000, twice that of Galaxy S21 and 1.5 times that of Galaxy Note20.

These impressive figures are partially due to the generous Samsung Care Plus packages the company is offering with pre-orders.

The devices will be available in 130 countries by October, according to Samsung.
