 South Korean newspaper DongA Ilbo has reported that the plant will produce flexible OLED panels used for smartphones and wearable products, to be built in South Korea, according to a Reuters report.
According to the report, LG Display has been considering whether to build a new production line or to convert existing capacity. The South Korean stock exchange separately on Monday asked LG to comment by 0900 GMT on whether it planned to build a new OLED production plant, Reuters reported. |
