Following on from leaks suggesting that Apple will pull out all the stops for its 2017 iPhone with an “all glass” design, further details tip the smartphone will also contain a dual-curve display.

This could look something like Samsung’s Galaxy Edge smartphone range and tie into earlier reports about how the new iPhone will have an “edgeless” display.

IHS Technology’s director of market research Kevin Wang last week claimed Apple will double iPhone 7 storage capacities.

Other commentators say Apple is stockpiling OLED panels, increasing conjecture that the company will produce a ground-up redesign of the iPhone.

According to Forbes, 2017 will be the 10th anniversary of the original iPhone and Apple is expected to skip its usual naming by jumping ahead and calling the 2017 device the iPhone 8.
