Action-cam company GoPro have announced that its upcoming six-camera VR footage rig, code-named Omni, will start shipping out to customers on August 17th.

It’s an impressive AU$7499 package designed for production-grade use, boasting six GoPro Hero 4 Black camera housed within a cube-like metal frame.

The Omni connects and synchronizes the six cameras to stitch video footage together to create some wicked 360-degree footage of up to 8K resolution.

There’s also an abridged version of the package available for AU$2299, which allows you to configure and use your own Hero 4 cameras. Check it out in action below:
