D-Link’s new DIR-879 AC1900 EXO Wi-Fi Gigabit Router is promising to hit the sweet spot between speed, coverage and affordability.

“Blending a new distinct design with powerful wireless AC home networking performance and a built-in range extender switch, the new EXO Router provides impressive speed and coverage across the home for an affordable price,” the company said.

The router touts a sleek and stylish design that ensures confidence in both design and performance.

It features wireless AC dual-band connectivity of up to 1300Mbps on the 5GHz band and up to 600Mbps on the 2.4GHz band, high power amplifiers, SmartConnect tech and a physical extender switch that can enhance Wi-Fi coverage in tandem with an existing router.

According to D-Link ANZ’s MD Graeme Reardon, “This new mid-range EXO DIR-879 AC1900 Router incorporates an evolutionary take on the AC Range’s unique design that has resonated so well with consumers and also has the technology to offer fantastic Wi-Fi coverage for today’s most demanding tasks at home such as HD media streaming and online gaming, all at a reasonable price.”

The DIR-879 AC1900 EXO Wi-Fi Gigabit Router is available now for an RRP of AUD$349.95 at all good D-Link resellers and retailers.
