It’s three or four months until Apple is expected to launch its new iPhone 8, but the speculation – aided by a few large hints from execs – is growing steadily wilder.

The iPhone 8, said to carry the tag “iPhone Edition”, will be Apple’s 10th anniversary smartphone, so it’s certainly likely to be something of a trendsetter.

Recent reports suggest the iPhone Edition will offer wireless charging technology, a curved AMOLED display and a unusual vertical dual rear-facing camera.

A growing number of reports say the new iPhone may initially be available only in limited quantities, possible due to issues with its Touch ID sensor.
