Following its announcement earlier this year, recent reports reveal that Google has started rolling out support for Chromecast to its Daydream VR headsets.

As with most Google updates, the new feature is said to be currently amidst a slow and gradual roll out.

To ensure they’re ready to receive the new feature, consumers need to have the latest version of Google VR Services from Google Play installed to their phones. It has just recently been updated with support for the new Google Daydream View headset and Google Pixel 2 phones

Once a user has their phone and headset ready, the new Chromecast icon should appear on the bottom of the Daydream launch screen.

Users simply have to select the icon to access Chromecast.
