With smart voice assistants slowly becoming a part of everyday technology Hisense is now jumping on the bandwagon with plans to install Amazon Alexa in a number of its smart TVs for 2018.

The company says users will be able to control their TVs through Alexa asking the assitant to change channels or alter the volume.

Hisense has not specified which models will have Amazon Alex however in October last year, Hisense announced it is releasing a 100-inch 4K laser TV which will have Alexa.

More news on what products will have Amazon Alexa and when they will be rolled out will be announced during CES next week.
