The Alcatel A3 and Optus X Spirit  model phones are now available through Optus prepaid, after the phone provider quietly updated their site.

The phones run on the old Android 6.0.1 Marshmallow operating system.

Both phones are available online or in any Optus “Yes” stores, with the Optus X Spirit selling for $99 and the Alcatel A3 with a price tag of $149.

Both models support 4G, with the A3 featuring a better camera, an 8MP rear camera (with the X Spirit only fitted with a 5MP rear camera) and the A3 coming with a 5″ HD screen.

Make note, that both these devices are locked to the Optus network, and unlocking the phones will require you to contact Optus to enquire about any fees relating to unlocking the device.
