SAN FRANCISCO: Professional services company Accenture has announced another addition to broaden its technology expertise.

Accenture is acquiring Spanish engineering services company Arca for an undisclosed sum.

The aim is to bolster Accenture’s suite of network transformation services involving 5G implementation.

About 640 Arca employees will join Accenture in Spain and help the management consultancy target clients based there and in Portugal.

Arca’s 5G experience will be combined with Accenture’s SynOps platform, an AI-powered tool designed to help organizations function more efficiently.
