Taiwanese-based Acer has post a 10.5% [YoY] lift in July revenue, following continued growth from its gaming division – soaring a whopping 61% versus the previous year.

For the month of July, consolidated revenues notched NT$20.07 billion, with gaming revenues climbing 98% [YoY] for the year-to-July.

Acer’s Chromebook division has also further boomed, generating “double-digit” revenue growth during the month.

According to IDC, Acer is currently the world’s 4th largest PC manufacturer, with market share increasing since the beginning of the year.

Acer claims its achieved solid results during the month, notably across America, Russia and South East Asia.
