Adobe has given a two finger salute to Android tablet and smartphone users however they have gave an upbeat revenue forecast for fiscal 2020 as it released new software products for the iPad but not Android tablets.

The creative software maker said annual recurring revenue for digital media will be $1.55 billion next fiscal year as it unveiled versions of Illustrator and Photoshop apps for Apple’s tablet.

The new apps include paths and typography tools and further Adobe’s move into the mobile device market.

Adobe is also trying to expand the appeal of its photo-editing and illustration software to hobbyists, a move which it hopes will boost sales growth for its Creative Cloud unit.
