German supermarket giant, ALDI, has unveiled a new Arlo Pro Series – 2 Camera Kit for $499 as part of its Wednesday July 3 ‘Special Buys’ sale.

The kit includes two 720P HD wireless cameras, base station (with built-in siren) and two rechargeable batteries.

The system boasts motion detection, 2-way audio, night vision and is weather-resistant.

Joining the Arlo security system is a 50-inch 4K Ultra HD TV with Google Chromecast for $429.

The Bauhn branded TV boasts a resolution of 3840 x 2160, HMDI connectivity, USB media playback and live TV recording.

ALDI has continued to enter the smart home space, by unveiling a Smart Wi-Fi Plug with Google Assistant and Amazon Alexa support ($19.99)

The July 3 Special Buys sale will also include a range of home appliances including; a 3L Digital Air Fryer ($69.99), 82L Upright Freezer ($199) and 7kg Clothes Dryer ($249).
