Not surprisingly, the public shaming and scapegoating of former Australia Post head Christine Holgate has led to a mass exodus of execs from the company.

The Australian notes at least eight senior executives have fled recently, with Manager of Mail Services Michael Oates, and Holgate’s EA Vicki Ballantyne joining Holgate at her new employer Global Express.

The paper also notes that these departures came after the payment of executive bonuses.

Chief Risk Officer Claire Hamilton is moving to AGL, while Finance Executive Neil Farbridge-Currie left a few weeks ago.

John Cox, who was Executive General Manager of Transformation and Enablement, is leaving to become Coles’ CTO; Claire Burke, GM of Costumer Solutions and Partnerships, is also leaving to join a tech company; and GM of Property, Michelle McNally is returning to former employer ISPT Super Property.

It will be interesting to watch further movements at the company.
