Mobile accessories manufacturer Belkin has launched its new DuraTek Plus cables, which it claims are its strongest and most durable yet.

The new range uses heat resistant, high strength Aramid material to provide structure and protect the cables inside, plus a secondary double braided nylon on the outer jacket.

The connection points are longer than usual and protected with flexible thermoplastic rubber to improve strain relief and prevent fraying.

The cables come in three different lengths, 1.2 metres, 1.8 metres and 3 metres, and feature a built-in leather strap to reduce tangles and help with cable organisation.

Connections include USB-A to Lightning and USB-C to Lightning for Apple products (A$39.95 each), and a USB-A to USB-C (A$49.95) for others.

The DuraTek Plus cables are available via the Belkin website and in leading retailers.
