Taiwanese-based, BenQ, has confirmed its new 4K TK800 DLP’ projector will be available to purchase in Australia for RRP $2,499.

BenQ claims the new TK800 DLP delivers “awe-inspiring picture” – with “vivid colour” and “high brightness” – even in difficult environments with ambient lighting.

Claimed to offer “stunningly likelife realism”, the projector’s 4K colour wheel reportedly notches a 92% rec. 709 colour gamut with 3,000 lumen high brightness.

Featuring “one-step image optimisation” and “automatic HDR” technology, BenQ’s TK800 DLP projector pledges to deliver “true 4K” resolution (3840×2160 UHD) with 8.3 million distinct pixels.
