Blackberry has released a teaser video for its upcoming Key2 calling it ‘an icon reborn’.

The YouTube video shows the device with dual rear cameras and its iconic keyboard. The 24 second video does not give us much but a release date and location: New York City, June 7.

The KeyOne was released last year and heralded as a phone for Blackberry loyalists. The phone was welcomed with mixed reviews with some praising the phone and others criticising the point of a keyboard with a touchscreen in the modern age.

Blackberry says in 2017 it sold 850,000 smartphone units – including the KeyOne – which they said left them feeling like a mission had been accomplished.

The Key2 will be launched in New York City with more details on June 7.
