ASUS has announced the world’s first 360Hz refresh rate gaming monitor with the Republic of Gamers (ROG) unveiling the ROG Swift PG32UQX with mini-LED technology and G-Sync support.

While pricing information is yet to be revealed, ASUS is hoping to launch the PG32UQX later this year.

Labelled the ‘ultimate 4K HDR gaming monitor’ the advanced G-SYNC ULTIMATE processor provides full-array local dimming on the 16:9 display with 1152 Mini LED zones that can reach a peak brightness of 1400 nits.

Compared to current 240Hz gaming monitors available today, the ROG Swift 360Hzcan output 50% more frames every second.

The G-SYNC processor drives variable refresh rates up to 144Hz, with support for up to 10-bit colour and DisplayHDR 1400.
