LG has released a pastry-sized 320W soundbar named the LG QP5 Éclair during CES 2021.

The tiny 3.1.2 channel soundbar is only 30cm long and two inches high but it packs a punch with a wireless subwoofer and five drivers – including two upfiring drivers for Dolby Atmos and DTS:X height sound.

LG says the Éclair is the ideal soundbar for apartment living with a compact frame and rounded edges.

It has also been optimised for smaller spaces with bi-directional drivers which reduce the amount of vibration.

This product is still in the concept stage and LG is hoping for a 2021 release, likely around June or July.

A concept photo was released of the Éclair in white, revealing its compact size and chic rounded design.

LG also announced a suite of eight regular-sized soundbars during Virtual CES 2021, including premium 7.1.4, 5.1.2 and 3.1.2 soundbars which are powered with LG’s Meridian sound technology.
