Alcatel’s Go Play smartphone, decked out with a range of features designed for durability, has launched in the Australian market.

Shockproof, waterproof and dustproof, with an IP67 rating, the Go Play, which is equipped with an 8 MP rear camera and a 5 MP front camera, can shoot pictures and video underwater.

alcatel1Sporting a 5” HD screen and powered by a quad-core 1.2 GHz CPU, it runs Android 5.0 Lollipop, comes with 8 GB internal ROM, 4 GB end-user memory and 32 GB expandable microSD storage.

The Go Play is equipped with a 2,500 mAh battery, providing 20 days standby time, 8.3 hours talk time and 55 hours music playback.

Available in five colour options, yellow/lime green, white/orange, red/black, black/grey and orange/blue, the Go Play is priced at $299 RRP.
