SYDNEY: The Government’s Clean Energy Finance Corporation is set to sink $3.5 million to back private technology company Jet Charge’s new battery offering.
Jet Charge aims to roll out charging stations which it says will lower power costs for electric vehicle owners.
“With more Australians putting solar [panels] on our rooftops and with an increasingly cleaner electricity system, we can power our electric vehicles with clean energy made even more efficient with smart charging infrastructure such as that created by Jet Charge,” an official said.
Clean Energy Finance Corp chief executive ı said initiatives such as Jet Charge were at the “heart of our clean energy transition”.
