Huawei has officially released its Mate 10 Pro in Australia; the first time the company’s flagship Mate series has been available in the country.

Huawei says the Mate 10 has already delivered the company a successful pre-order campaign and its consumer business group has high hopes for the Mate 10 Pro.

The Mate 10 Pro is a water resistant smartphone, featuring a dual sim, option of two colours mocha and blue, 6GB of ram plus 128GB of storage, a 6-inch OLED screen and weighing only 178g.

The limited-edition Porsche Design Mate 10 Pro is also on sale today with limited quantities creating a first come, first served basis.

It is available from Optus, Mobilecitit, Amaysim and Vaya at a price of $1099.
