Renowned tech analyst, Jon Prosser, has tipped that Apple will unveil its next-generation iPhone 12 series at an event on October 13, 2020.
The leak follows a slew of other rumours online, however, Prosser adds that the first batch of iPhone 12 units will go out to distributors on October 5 – in time for the October 13 launch event.
According to Prosser, the first batch of shipments will include the 5.4-inch iPhone 12 mini (64GB/128GB/256GB) and 6.1-inch iPhone 12 ( 64GB, 128GB, 256GB) variants.
Both devices are said to be among the more affordable of the new stable.
Prosser did not provide any explicit news on the forthcoming iPhone 12 Pro and Pro Max.
Commentators state that both premium handsets will likely land with 128GB storage as standard.
