The worst-kept secret is now (almost) official, with the news that the iPhone 13 series is indeed going to be announced on September 14, with pre-orders opening on the 17th, and a release on the 23rd.

Apple tipster Jon Prosser has revealed the date, along with an image of the retail box for the phone, which further cements the news that the phones are coming very soon, indeed.

An earlier leak suggested an on sale date of September 17, which is when Prosser suggests pre-orders will start. The previous leak also confirmed that there will be four different iPhone models: the Mini, Regular, Pro, and Pro Max.
