Eccentric millionaire John McAfee has said told FOX Business from Ho Chi Minh City that the protests sweeping the US are going to “escalate into something close to a revolution”.
“This is some serious stuff that’s happening in America,” McAfee said.
So far, US governors in 28 states have called in the National Guard to contain the unrest and curfews have been implemented at a number of major cities.
McAfee also alleged that the race riots are “externally motivated”.
McAfee, who founded the antivirus software company McAfee Associates, has since become a fugitive. He announced that he fled the US in early 2019 while facing tax fraud charges.
Back in 2012 he fled Belize after he was named as a person of interest in the death of his neighbour.
