As the silly season draws near, LASER has announced it’s releasing its new ‘V-Fitness’ activity trackers to Big W next week, priced at an affordable $29.95 – $69.95.

Despite the low price-tag, the trackers claim to offer several premium features including; heart rate monitoring, sleep analysis, calories burned and more.

With both kids and adult models, the V-Fitness trackers are sweat resistant, offer up to seven days battery life, and the ability to share results with friends.

LASER’s new V-Fitness range will land in Big W stores nationally on November 12.

The news comes just days after the Australia launch of Fitbit’s new Charge 3 (A$229.95), with the company claiming pre-orders beat its former Versa.

Both products capitalise on rising wearable sales, with Telsyte claiming a 80% year-on-year jump in the number of smartwatches sold in Australia.

Telsyte claims ~15% of Aussie smartphone users now own a form of wearable tech.

LASER’s new V-Fitness range claims to attract first time wearable users, or the price-conscious.

V-Fitness trackers accompany a free Android and iOS app, with message alerts and alarms sent straight to a person’s wrist.
