LG’s decision to sell iPhones at its physical stores in Korea has sparked backlash, being opposed by smaller distributors who claim LG’s vast network of over 400 stores will squash small and medium-sized business across the country.

The Korean government has also expressed its concerns, citing the damage the pandemic has already done to the SMB sector.

LG has now suspended its plans to sell iPhones instore, although the company claims this is just a temporary halt.
