LG Australia has announced the LG V50 ThinQ 5G smartphone will now be available from $1,296 from Telstra, making it now one of the most affordable 5G phones on the market.

The price drop will see savings of just over $432.

One of the first 5G smartphones to hit our shores, the V50 ThinQ comes with a dual screen display for better productivity and multi-tasking. It is designed to resemble a cover case that opens, and the dual screen gives users a second 6.2-inch OLED display.

The V50 ThinQ has an impressive 6.4-inch OLED FullVision Screen, which delivers ultra-precise definition.

It also comes with five cameras and optical features that enable users to take high-quality pictures and videos.

The Telstra price drop will be available until January 13, 2020, or while stock last.

“We’re excited to give more Australians the opportunity to get their hands on this fantastic device with the recent drop in price from Telstra,” said Angus Jones, general manager of marketing at LG Electronics.

“The LG V50 is a game-changer in mobile design with the dual screen option changing the way consumers use their personal handsets.”

“And with more and more locations gaining access to 5G, now is a great time to trade-up and prepare for what’s to come in the New Year.”
