First revealed back in August, Logitech has now brought its next big move in the home automation space to market.

Branded the Pop Switches, the customizable buttons promise “Simple smart home control for the whole family.”

They can be customized with up to three smart home tasks to occur upon being pressed and are designed to be ‘swapped out’ with existing light switches. They’ve also released a short video reel showing the Pop Switch in action, seen below.

Different functions can be programmed for single presses, double presses and press-and-hold using the companion App and the Pop Switches come compatible with most smart home brands including Phillips, LIFX, Sonos, Harmony, and Belkin.

Logitech are selling starter-packs of the switches that include five switches plus a Pop Bridge (required for setup) for $149 while individual switches will cost US$39.

Australian pricing and availability to be confirmed.
