Arlo has introduced two new smart cameras with an incredible six-month battery life to its line-up of premium security products.

The new Pro 4 Wire-Free Spotlight Camera and the Ultra 2 Wire-Free Spotlight Camera System are both wire-free and can offer 2K or 4K resolution respectively .

The Arlo Pro 4 can connect directly to Wi-Fi, which means no smart home hub is required to use it. The Ultra 2 still needs a hub to use it.

The Pro 4 also captures 2K video content with HDR, colour night vision, and a flexible160-degree viewing angle. The Pro 4 also comes with a built-in spotlight to shine a light on incoming intruders, a siren, and two-way audio with six month battery life.

Meanwhile, Ultra 2 supports 4K video with HDR, has auto-focus, and a 180-degree viewing angle. Similar to the Pro 4, it also includes two-way audio, a spotlight, a siren, colour night vision, and six months of battery life after one full charge.

Both cams also support Alexa, Google Assistant, and IFTTT and the content can be streamed directly to smartphones, Apple watches, Google Home Hub and Amazon Alexa.

The Arlo Pro 4 stars at $199.99 (AUD$277) and the Ultra 2 for $299.99 (AUD$416).
