OPPO has released its new Reno2 Z model smartphone, which comes with a quad-camera setup consisting of a 48MP ultra-clear main camera, 8MP wide angle lens, 2MP mono lens and 2MP portrait lens.

Selling for $599, the Reno2 Z comes in luminous black and sky white and can be purchased now from retailers JB Hi-Fi, The Good Guys, Officeworks and Kogan.

From October, availability also opens up to Woolworths, Wireless 1, Mobile City, Telechoice and Catch.

It comes with a 4000mAh battery, an MTK P90 processor, up to 8GB of memory and 256GB of storage, and will run a modified version of Android, which is based on Android Pie.

“With its new capabilities, our customers will be able to unleash their creative potential and bring new perspectives to their personal galleries,” said Michael Tran, OPPO Australia MD.

“Today, our smartphone is not only our phone, but it’s our camera, our video recorder, our gaming device, on-the-go TV and an extension of our style.”

Other feature of the Reno2 Z includes ultra dark mode, which lets users capture high-quality night-time shots, as week as seven different portrait modes, an adjustable Bokeh HDR mode and the ultra-steady video mode for improved video quality.

It also has a 6.5-inch E1 AMOLED screen and a screen to body ratio of 91.1% and does not have a notch due to the pop-up style camera.
