Tthe Korean Times has published an extensive report detailing Samsung’s release plans for the Galaxy Note 4, they claim that Samsung will hold an event to announce the Note 4 on Sept. 3 and that a press conference will take place prior to the IFA trade fair in Berlin, Germany.
It’s believed that the Note 4 will be the first smartphone to incorporate an ultraviolet sensor. The sensor can measure UV radiation and offer index levels to Note 4 users inside the ‘S Health’ application.
The Korean report claims that the Galaxy Note 3 will be made available with a curved OLED display despite the LG curved phone failing to generate sales with carriers and retailers.
The UV sensor and a new S-Health app, have been confirmed for the Galaxy Note 4 by Samsung executives.
ChannelNews has been told that Vodafone, Optus and Telstra already have the new Note 4 for testing.
It is believed that the Samsung Galaxy Note 4 will go on sale in Australia in early September, right before the Apple iPhone 6 launch.
