Heralded a leader in outdoor home security, Ring, has expanded its Floodlight Cam product line in Australia, with the release of a new Ring Spotlight Cam.
The company states it endeavours to continually innovate home security, by releasing new devices which increase accessibility to more homeowners, regardless of power or setup conditions.
Ring’s new Spotlight Cams come in three versions; wired, battery-powered or solar powered.
The new Spotlight Cam line features lED light panels which turn on when motion is detected, plus a 1080p HD camera and two way audio.
Ring products are designed to integrate easily with each other, and are controlled via the Ring app.
The products can accompany a Basic Ring Video Recording plan, priced at AUD$4/month or AUD$40/annually per device. Should consumers have more than three Ring devices, they can upgrade to the Unlimited Cameras plan for AUD$150/annually or AUD$15/month.
The devices are available to purchase online from Ring.com – starting with the wired Spotlight Cam, and the batter and solar powered versions to come later this year.

● Ability to hold up to two Ring battery packs for long-lasting battery life; if one dies, the device automatically switches to the second battery for power (additional batteries are $49 AUD each)

● 160-degree horizontal motion detection angle
● 140-degree field of view
● Compatible with 802.11 b/g/n (2.4GHz)
