Samsung Display is gearing up to produce 18 million foldable OLED panels next year, according to UBI Research, who have crunched the numbers.

The company currently operates nine production lines dedicated to OLED panels, with a yield rate of 80-90 per cent.

UBI Research expects roughly 8.9 million foldable OLED panels to be shipped in 2021, with Samsung Display making up 91 per cent of these.

They predict this will reach 49 million units by 2025.
