Samsung has announced a partnership with Red Bull to create more 360-degree video content for its Samsung Gear virtual reality platform.

Video content will be developed via Red Bull’s Rulebreakers promotional campaign, aiming to “inspire people to cross their limits and show what they’re really capable of”.

Content from the Red Bull events below should be available in 360-degree shortly, as Samsung will be present to capture the action:

  • World breakdance championship
  • BC ONE World Final
  • Big Air Kitesurf Contest
  • Red Bull Megaloop Challenge in Zandvoort

This year, Samsung has significantly promoted 360-degree content for it’s Gear VR. The company launched its VR Live Pass, which enabled Gear VR owners to watch the UFC 212, X Games Minneapolis and a ColdPlay concert IN 360-degrees.

Samsung will soon reveal exactly what content is coming.
