German audio brand, Sennheiser, will open its first Aussie flagship store later this year, located in Sydney CBD’s prestigious Martin Place.

Colloquially referred to as the ‘Money Box’, 5 Martin Place is among Sydney’s most iconic heritage listed sandstone buildings.

It follows a revamp in 2015, after Johnson Pilton Walker and Tanner Kibble Denton unveiled their redesign of Sydney’s Money Box, fusing high-tech materials with original heritage elements.

The company has sent out press invitations for an opening event in mid-December.

Sennheiser Electronic COO, Peter Ogley, will also be in attendance.
