The Victorian Government has launched a school for start-up founders as part of  $2.9 million start-up education program.

Up to 2000 places will be available to Victorian start-up founders and their staff.  Sixteen service providers will be available to deliver short courses, intensive three-day workshops, week-long courses, mentoring and online learning.

Topics covered will include export and growth skills, corporate governance, investment support and personal leadership, the Government says.

The service providers include law firm Burch + Co, as well as the Common Code Web application development outfit, and Onestack, a company which claims to help start-up founders prosper.
