Vodafone customers were still reporting mobile phone issues over the weekend after problems with its 4G network caused widespread disruption across Australia on Friday.
Vodafone customers reported slow to no internet connectivity and were still having difficulty making phone calls and sending and receiving texts as late as Sunday.
On its Facebook page Vodafone said its 4G services had returned to normal and said it was sorry for the disruption.
But CDN has been told by a Canberra resident that he is still experiencing problems accessing his Vodafone internet account.
The telco, recently taken over by TPG, says it will be offering free data to customers but did not say how much or when that free data would be available.
Vodafone apparently expected some fallout from the disruption asking those still experiencing difficulties connecting to send them a private message so it can troubleshoot the issue.
