An MP3 recording facility has been added to enable digital recordings of sessions to be made for later playback or archiving. Built into the system’s control unit, the MP3 audio recorder enables users to record MP3-compatible audio recordings on individual Secure Digital (SD) Cards. The recordings can be played back via a monitor loudspeaker integrated into the control unit or via the Bosch CCS 800 Ultro tabletop unit. The control unit also features an LCD screen that displays information such as the date and time of a recording, file name, elapsed recording time, number of recorded tracks and memory status. The SD card can be removed from the control unit and processed on a PC for transcription purposes. Recordings can also be retrieved by connecting the PC to the control unit’s USB port. |

An audible beep and a flashing LED indicate when the SD card is almost full, requiring replacement with a new card. Seamless switchover between cards is assured by a recording buffer. When the full card is removed, the recording is continued to the buffer and then automatically written onto the new card when it is inserted into the control unit. see www.bosch.com for more information
